Questions Clients Ask Before Starting
When a company first approaches a corporate uniform supplier, they usually have very specific doubts. This is not an impulsive purchase: it involves defining sizes, choosing fabrics, coordinating delivery times, and deciding how the logo will be embroidered. Below are the questions we hear most often in initial conversations.
The first is usually about the minimum order quantity. Many companies need to outfit teams of between 20 and 200 people, and they want to know if we accept small orders. The answer is yes, we work with batches starting from 30 units, although the price per garment improves when the order exceeds 100. This allows both SMEs and large corporations to access the same quality of manufacturing.
Another recurring query is about production times. A standard order of executive shirts or dress pants requires between 15 and 20 business days, counting from sample approval. If the client needs an urgent delivery, we can shorten the deadline to 10 days with a 15% surcharge on the total. We always recommend planning at least one month in advance to avoid setbacks.
Customization also generates many questions. Logo embroidery is done with single-needle machines, which allows reproducing designs up to 12 cm wide with good definition. Clients often ask if they can send their own vector file or if they need us to adapt it. We accept both cases: if the file is in .ai or .eps format, we process it at no additional cost; if it is a low-resolution image, we charge a redesign fee of $45 per garment.
They also ask about fabric composition. For executive shirts, we use 100% combed cotton with a weight of 140 g/m², which offers good drape and resistance to industrial washing. For dress pants, the cotton gabardine weighs 280 g/m² and includes internal reinforcements at the knees. Some clients request polyester blends to reduce wrinkles, and we offer that option with 65% cotton and 35% polyester, although the texture changes slightly.
Finally, delivery logistics is a key issue. We ship nationwide via land transport, with a cost that depends on volume and distance. For orders over 500 garments, freight is free within the province of Buenos Aires. We also offer the possibility of picking up the merchandise at our plant at Zamora 4, subject to prior schedule coordination.
If you are evaluating options for your company's uniform supply, we suggest having the size list per employee and the logo file in vector format on hand. This speeds up the quote and avoids back-and-forth. We'll take care of the rest together on the first call.
